D.S.S.V.

The Deep Space Science Vessel (DSSV) is conceived as a state-of-the-art research and exploration vehicle, accommodating a crew of 48. Its design strikes a critical balance—offering meticulously functional spaces to support mission operations and scientific research, alongside thoughtfully crafted environments for personal rest and reprieve. These include areas where the crew can figuratively “step outside”, creating opportunities to recharge during extended missions. The project began with a sectional diagram, outlining space allocation across bays and module floors. Over the course of 10 weeks, we conducted in-depth research and refined the interior spaces to optimize both mission efficiency and crew well-being.
